The Richard-Allan Scientific Eosin-Y is a fast- acting, alcoholic counterstain designed for histological applications. This stain provides excellent delineation of cytoplasmic components, producing shades of red and pink that enhance the contrast between muscle fibers, red blood cells and connective tissue. Eosin-Y is formulated to ensure clear visualization of cellular structures, accentuating the bluish-purple hues of nuclear chromatin when used in conjunction with hematoxylin.
