The HM525 NX UV Cryostat is a high-performance cryostat designed for routine clinical applications, offering exceptional sectioning quality and advanced ergonomics. It features a user-friendly touchscreen interface and an intuitive icon-driven system that allows for easy operation and rapid adjustments. The cryostat can cool specimens to -35°C and includes an integrated Peltier fast-freezing device that rapidly cools to -60°C, accommodating a wide range of specimen types. It has 27 cooled specimen positions, including four fast-freeze stations, to enhance throughput. Safety features include a mechanical handwheel lock and optional on-demand UV disinfection to protect against biological contaminants. The HM525 NX supports section thicknesses from 1 µm to 500 µm, with automatic specimen retraction on the return stroke to minimize artifacts.
